Country Bears - s/t CD -- $8.00 ppd
Country Bears were an early- to mid- naughts Chapel Hill band consisting of Steve Wright (Hazerai), John Crouch (Caltrop, Horseback, Airstrip), Zach Blalock (Hot Body-gram) and Andrew Wasson (The Club). Influenced by abrasive and technical rock bands such as Drive Like Jehu and Botch, they existed in a period of Chapel Hill’s music history with a dearth of similar bands. Quite frankly, they played a handful of shows, recorded this album, and broke up.

Hazerai: The Castle EP (CD) -- OUT OF PRINT
Hazerai's debut release. Four bothersome tracks of funtime fury. Beautifully recorded at Track & Field Studios in happening downtown Carrboro, NC.
Clear jewel cases with transparent inserts
The Independent said this:
They will possibly be blown off the stage by Chapel Hill's Hazerai, whose Castle EP, recorded by new Monsonia member Nick Petersen last year, is brutally heavy and perfectly tight, a miscreant vocal snarl smeared down the sides of harsh guitar angles and a taut, thudding rhythm section that sounds like Weston/Trainer beating small children with low-end.
